Sensoji Temple
Sensoji is Tokyo's most famous and popular temple. Built in the 7th century, it is also one of its oldest, although the current buildings are postwar reconstructions.

Sumida Park
Sumida Park is located along Sumida river near Asakusa. It is especially nice to visit during cherry blossom season in the spring. There are sakura trees planted along the river on both sides. Just take a walk here and enjoy the season.
The park has good views of Tokyo Skytree and the golden Asahi Brewery buildings. There are a number of good spots to take photos here. This is a nice place to go with small children. They can run around and go to the playground inside the park.

Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower
Tokyo Skytree was recently built in 2012 in order relay television and radio broadcast signal. Before it was Tokyo Tower but it wasn't tall enough to support terrestrial digital broadcasting in the area. Now it is the tallest building structure in Japan, peaking at 634 meter (2080 feet). It is located in Sumida, Tokyo.
